Epilepsy Queensland August Bulletin
Learn Epilepsy has officially launched!
Training for rural and remote health workers

We have completed and launched the first epilepsy training of its kind to rural and remote health practitioners.

The e-learning website was officially launched at the Magpies Sporting Club in Mackay and received a resounding thumbs up from the audience. A high number of health workers and others have already logged on to complete the courses. For more information please go to www.learnepilepsy.com.au.

The project is funded by the Department of Health and Ageing National Rural Primary Health Projects (NRPHP) initiative and will help educate Queensland’s rural health workers in an understanding of epilepsy, its management and the promotion of wellness strategies.
