Parliamentary Friends of Epilepsy Deadline for Public Submissions 2 October 2009 (Revised) Information on making a submission An Inquiry into Epilepsy is being held by The Parliamentary Friends of Epilepsy. The aim is to gain a better understanding of epilepsy and its impact on the Australian community. There are five Terms of Reference for the Inquiry:
Your personal experiences and suggestions for improvements in the health, disability or social services systems will help the Inquiry to understand what it is really like to live with epilepsy and the practical services needed to ensure that people living with epilepsy have equal opportunities to participate in community life and the support they need. The Parliamentary Friends of Epilepsy is a group formed by the Joint Epilepsy Council of Australia (JECA) within the federal parliament. Parliamentary Inquiry into Epilepsy
The convenors of the Parliamentary Friends of Epilepsy have announced an inquiry into the impact of Epilepsy in Australia and are calling for submissions.
Epilepsy Queensland's 40th Birthday Celebrations
This year Epilepsy Queensland is celebrating 40 years of continuous service for Queenslander's with epilepsy. Birthday celebrations in November will include the annual Awards presentations and AGM.

Trivia Challenge 2009
The Trivia Challenge finals are fast approaching. Teams from primary schools all over Queensland have been busy with quizzes to determine the top teams in each school. These top teams compete in the Queensland state finals.

Understanding Epilepsy Workshop
Epilepsy Queensland extends an invitation to disability support workers, child care workers, teachers, nurses, allied health professionals, volunteers and families to attend this education session on epilepsy.
